Backup

July 27, 2005

There was a thing I was meaning to do ever since I got myself a DVD burner, but somehow I never got round to actually doing it.

Over the past week I have been using my spare time to finally make a DVD-backup of my CD-ROM's. For me it was either putting everything on DVD or buy yet another cupboard for the CD-ROM's.

I have now succesfully transferred the contents of 306 CD-ROM's to 29 DVD's!!! So now I could possibly sell one of my cupboards...

All the best.

London meets Gerry Black

July 23, 2005

Over the past years I've met quite some creative people who have inspired me or shaped me to who I am today as a creative professional.

Gerry Black is most certainly one of them. I met Gerry when he was a copywriter at Hunterskil Howard and worked with him on the projects I am most proud of. That's no coincidence.

Because of the mutual respect for one another and the fact that we got along personally made me often work just a bit harder on a project, mostly because I'd feel my efforts were being appreciated and vice versa.

Today Gerry had a farewell party in Eindhoven because he will be moving to London coming week. He has found an exciting new job over there. Not a big surprise, because this Irish man is just so very talented in what he does. I am most certain that Gerry will make a fantastic impression in London and through this website I once again want to wish him the very best in the UK!

"We win, we always win. And all you need to do is to find out who we are!"

Burger's Bush

July 9, 2005

Today we've been to Burger's Zoo. The parc is made into several sections: Burger's Ocean, Burger's Bush, Burger's Desert, Burger's Safari and the Zoo.

Hadn't been there since my graduation project (for which we took video-footage there) and at that time Burger's Ocean was still being build. Now I have seen the end-result and it looks really nice. Saw Nemo and Dory in real life. ;-)

Good old fun

July 5, 2005

The village fair (kermis) is here again. Today is the last day. The fair in my village is not big or anything like that. You can do a little shootin', bumpin', swingin' and get some candy. That's about it.

But it works for me. I like the shooting and am getting better at it every year. There's also this kind of relaxed atmosphere at the village fair that I like. Not that I would like to stay there for hours, but spending some time there is very relaxing.
